Bergs 'N' Burgs will take place on July 15th, 2023
Registration opens on February 18th, 2023 @ 10:00 AM
This event includes a tournament, a burger lunch, side events, and a raffle!
The tournament will be Bergs only. You will be provided a Berg in your player's pack.
A burger lunch will be provided.
There are 4 different side events detailed below.
There will be a very fun raffle with lots of fabulous prizes.
The tournament will run through the 18 hole course at Gemmill Park in Almonte from the red (short) tees.
Hole 1's tee will be adjusted.
There will be a Mixed Open Division, a Female Open Division, and a Junior (Under 18) division.
Schedule
8:00-8:55 AM - Pick up Player's Packs / Warm-up
9:00 AM - Player's Meeting / Walk to Assigned Tees
9:30 AM - Tournament Start
11:30 AM - Lunch + Vendor Stations Open
1:00 PM - Side Events + Vendor Stations Open
3:00 PM - Raffle + Awards Presentation
Location
Located at Gemmill Park in Almonte, Ontario.
~ 40 minute drive from anywhere in Ottawa.
This 18 hole course features some open air as well as some tight wooded holes.
There are also many changes in elevation, making for tricky holes!
Prizes
First place in each division will win a trophy.
There will be some CTPs on the course as well.
Each of the side events will have a prize to the top performer.
Raffle
We will have a ton of awesome stuff to win in our raffle!
If we get enough entrants, we will be raffling off a portable basket as well.
If you would like to donate an item for the raffle, please get in touch!
We will give you a shoutout during the raffle, as well as the self-promotion that your item provides.
Side Events
NOTE: All of these events are BERG only. We will supply Bergs for anyone who needs one.
For Big Distance and CTP/Ace Run, you can attempt multiple times!
Each attempt costs $1.
If you attended the tournament, you get one attempt at each event for free!
Ring of Ice(Berg)
Ring of Fire! Everyone stands at 32.9 ft from the basket.
Listen to the countdown and everyone throws at the same time.
If you hit the putt, advance to the next round; miss and you're out.
Last putter standing wins!
Putting Competition
Putt off! See if you can handle the putting gauntlet.
Everyone gets into a line and putts from the same distance.
You get 2 chances at each station. Sink one - you move on. Miss both and you're out! Station moves back 5 feet every round.
Last putter standing wins!
Big Distance
Compete for big distance!
No rollers allowed, only airtime.
Distance will be marked off and measured from where it lands.
Farthest distance wins!
CTP / Ace RUN
Basket and tee locations will be set up.
Everyone will throw from the same spot.
If your disc is closest, it will be marked.
Closest to the Basket wins! Ace wins a prize automatically!
